Monday - it's snowing

.... and it is cold today - maybe it's just that I am getting old and feel the cold more!!! A few Jo Morton pieces came in today - she does wonderful reproduction fabrics. Civil War reproductions are still some of my favorite "dark & dirty" fabrics. Is it just me - or are the days getting shorter? There just aren't enough hours in the day for me to get anything done. Lately, I have been prompted - by my own guilty concious - to finish a few of the unfinished projects that I just happen to have cluttering up my sewing room - and surrounding area. This past September, I moved into a condo. Talk about a reality check - packing up years of hobbies is daunting - and it has only been 10 years since we had moved to Logan. Its' not just the quilting neccesities, its'the cross stitch, rug hooking, punch needle, and the amount of wool I have - well it is almost shameful. Oh - I can't forget about all my knitting stuff too! I am so grateful for the food storage room that is next to my sewing room - the metal shelves house all my totes, baskets, bags- well you get the picture! Now if I could just concentrate on getting it all organized. I am taking my sweet time in an effort to make a wonderful creative space - it may take me years. Maybe today I will give it an hour or two. Hope you are warm and happy - Kaye
